The Path to the Podium
Round 1 - Online Qualifier
An online MCQ-based test to assess core surgical knowledge.
Top 6 contestants from each zone will advance to the Zonal Round.
Round 2 - Virtual Zonal Round
A virtual case-based presentation round.
Each contestant will be assigned a clinical case to prepare and present before a panel of expert judges.
Scoring will be based on 5 key parameters.
Top 2 contestants from each zone will qualify for the National Finals.
Round 3 – National Finals (In-Person)
The ultimate face-off!
8 finalists from across 4 zones will compete in a two-part challenge:
- Surgical Quiz
- Long Case Discussion with Viva-Voce
- Only the sharpest minds will rise to the top.
Open to MS & DNB General Surgery students in 1st, 2nd and 3rd year
